GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

1. Scope
All deliveries and services provided by Dr. Scent (hereinafter “we”, “us” or “our”) are governed exclusively by these General Terms and Conditions (GTC) in the version valid at the time of your order. Any terms and conditions of the customer (hereinafter “you” or “your”) that deviate from these GTC shall not apply unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

2. Prices
All prices are quoted in Euro (€) and include statutory Value Added Tax (VAT). The prices displayed on the Dr. Scent website (www.germany.dr-scent.com) at the time of your order shall apply.

3. Orders
The presentation of products in our online shop constitutes a non-binding invitation for you to place an order, not a legally binding offer. Placing items in your shopping cart does not create a binding contract. A binding contract is concluded only when you click the “Submit Order” button on the order page.

4. Payments
We accept the following payment methods: Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card, Union Pay) and PayPal. All orders require full prepayment before processing.

5. Availability
If, after the conclusion of the contract, we discover that the ordered goods are not available due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to force majeure, supplier failure, or unforeseen insurmountable obstacles), we are entitled to either withdraw from the contract or offer you goods of equivalent quality and price. You will be notified immediately of any unavailability. Any payments already made will be promptly refunded in case of withdrawal.

6. Delivery
We currently deliver within Germany. Delivery timelines and shipping policies are governed by our separate Shipping & Delivery Policy.

7. Retention of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of Dr. Scent until full payment of the purchase price has been received.

8. Warranty
Our technical fragrance devices are covered by a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of delivery.

  • During the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace a defective product at no cost to you. Our total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
  • This warranty does not cover damage, defects, or malfunctions resulting from:
    • Improper use, maintenance, or handling.
    • Use of fragrances not purchased from Dr. Scent.
    • Accidents, moisture, fire, power surges, or other external causes.
    • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering.
    • Negligence or malicious acts.
  • All warranty repairs must be performed exclusively by us.

9. Return Policy & Right of Cancellation
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the goods.

  • To cancel, notify us within this period via email or in writing to the address below. You then have an additional 4 days to return the items.
  • Items must be returned in their original, unopened, and unused condition with all packaging intact.
  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods, we will process a refund to your original payment method.
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

10. Product Improvements and Changes
We reserve the right to make product improvements or changes to enhance quality, even without prior notice. We also reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions and prices. Minor deviations from descriptions and illustrations may occur.

11. Trademarks and Brand Names
Dr. Scent is an online shop operating at https:///. All trademarks and brand names mentioned are the property of their respective owners.
By placing an order as a corporate customer, you grant us the right to use your company logo for our commercial references.

12. Governing Law
For all matters not expressly regulated by these GTC or the contract, the substantive law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
